Last year we put out an open casting call for the leading role of Alex in Birthday Boy.
On 30th July 2019 we were honoured to have over twenty incredible trans male actors come to audition for our film (and many more via self-tape).
That’s when we met Sebastian Emmerson for the first time. Sebastian seemed to perfectly embody the spirit and complexities of Alex, and after a round of call backs we became sure that he was the one.
